Tutorials

📱 Set up the phone app

  1. Download the PaidBeep app from Store & app (or scan the QR during setup).
  2. Open it and type the 6-character pairing code from your setup page.
  3. Make all four checklist items green — especially UPI app notifications ON. If your PhonePe/Paytm notifications are blocked, PaidBeep cannot hear payments.
  4. Tap Run self-test — "Last result" should change within a minute.
  5. Keep the phone charged, connected to the internet, and don't force-close the app.

🌐 Set up the WordPress plugin

  1. Download the plugin zip from Store & app.
  2. WordPress admin → Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin → choose the zip → Activate.
  3. WooCommerce → Settings → Payments → PaidBeep UPI → Enable.
  4. Paste your API key (copy it from Store & app) and Save.
  5. Place a small test order on your own store — the payment page should show your QR.

🧭 What each tab does

  1. Overview — today's numbers and the latest payments your phone heard.
  2. Transactions — every order with its status. Use Verify manually only after checking your UPI app that the money really arrived.
  3. Analytics — revenue and order trends over time.
  4. Wallet — your balance, recharges and fee history. Verification pauses politely when the balance is empty, so keep it topped up.
  5. Profile — change your business details or UPI ID (re-upload the QR when you do).

🆘 Something's stuck?

  1. Order stuck at "pending" but customer paid? Open your UPI app, confirm the credit, then use Verify manually in Transactions.
  2. "Phone offline" in the top bar? Open the PaidBeep app on your phone once — check battery settings.
  3. Still stuck? Email support@paidbeep.com with your order number.
